Look for your EAP results in the mail by late summer. The results will be included in your STAR Student Report. If you do not receive a copy of your STAR report, please see your counselor in September.

EAP Results

In the late summer, students will receive a copy of their STAR (Standardized Testing and Reporting) student report.  This report indicates how well you performed on the 11th grade standardized tests.  You can find your EAP math and English results on the back side of your STAR report.

Ready for CSU or Participating CCC College-Level English Courses
Congratulations.  You are ready to enroll in for-credit courses at the CSU and participating Community Colleges.  Please note, you are still required to apply for college and will need to satisfy all preparatory coursework.

Not Yet Demonstrating Readiness for CSU or Participating CCC College-Level English Courses
Your English skills are not yet sufficiently strong to succeed in required college English courses. If you are accepted for admission to the CSU or a participating Community College, you will be required to take a placement test. Your score on this placement test will determine if you meet the entrance requirement or if you will need to take remedial English before enrolling in courses that count toward your degree.

Not Applicable
A different test other than the English Language Arts test was indicated on your answer sheet. If you are accepted for admission to the CSU or a participating Community College, you may be required to take a placement test. Your score on this placement test will determine if you meet the entrance requirement or if you will need to take remedial English before enrolling in courses that count toward your degree.
